Cant wait for the release. I have been playing since the old WON server days on Beta 4 so def looking forward to this being released, I would actually be keen to get back into some war's providing I can find a decent clan. I think most that were around when I was playing have died off haha.

That being said I like a few others would love a beta key. If anyone can help me out I would be very very much appreciated. Steam id is spawnskee

Well it depends if they are trying to create a prettier clone of 1.6 or if they are trying to make a game that has its own character.

Regardless, An M4 does not have as much recoil as an AK. Even if it's a 5.56 M4 and 5.45 AK

The m4 has a recoil spring, as far I know the older 47 design does not have any kind of recoil reduction spring, but the newer AK rifles should, particularly since it's been updated 10 thousand million billion times since the 70's

Why are you discussing realism in a game that lets you shoot someone 10+ times to kill and doesn't even have ADS

Because the guns aren't like quake or UT, they're modelled after real weapons. It's just a discussion on weapon balancing, something CSGO has not gotten right so far.

It's got a lot wrong I'll tell you that, major yawn fest. Bring back cs_mansion on beta 5.2

The similarities are striking.

1.6 was done by the community as a mod and came to steam.

CS:S & Now CS:GO are/was done by Turtle Rock Studios and now Hidden Path Entertainment with Valve supplying the engine and tools.

Safe to say, I think they have no fucking clue what they're doing and how much important information they're ignoring.

Valve have even said that the current build is in lockdown for testing, and will continue to be in lockdown for a few more weeks. This is terrible because the game is in a shocking state, actually it's in the "console" state - which is more or less confirmed by the lockdown. Bug fixes are expensive on consoles and all patches must go through approval from MS/Sony.

I really don't understand why its such a disaster, I play the game most days and enjoy it a lot.

My number 1 beef is the lack of arsernal maps.
