Default Been having speed, drop outs and phone static issues

Well the phone issue is hopefully fixed but speed is still the issue last ozspeed test was

Test run on 22/06/2012 @ 12:45 PM

Mirror: Exetel
Data: 15 MB
Test Time: 99.33 secs

Your line speed is 1.26 Mbps (1262 kbps).
Your download speed is 158 KB/s (0.15 MB/s).

well been having these issues for past 3 years as telstra been telling exetel no issue.

Also have a thread on Whirlpool if some one can give me a hand thanks

Warned exetel with TIO well Telstra techy came out today and overheard him on the phone to the exchange and the exchange said something about an unbalanced line as well as the number 60 have no idea what this means

MODEM says this :
DownStream Connection Speed 1629 kbps
UpStream Connection Speed 165 kbps

Thanks

post the modem's DSL stats. speedtests just describe the symptoms, not show the problem.

yes, I'm, sure Exetel would find that convenient.

really need to see the modem stats, not the router ones. attenuation, SNR, bitrates, power levels.

Exetel's opinion aside, are you still having problems with the connection?

Where do I find those stats.

Exchanges can talk now? Or am I missing something? Lol..

You COULD have a capitative imbalance...which does cause speed issues.
