15:1 fiddlesticks and the death came diving their shrine last two towers at the end of the game.

Why is he so op? He would be easier with flash I admit, but I am a few levels off but seems stacking spell ability then some extra spell vamp for even more life drain and everyone runs scared.

He's by far my fav champ, although he is EASILY countered.... Silence the drains, then ignite the other drains....

I like to go for a magic pen/cooldown reduction/mana regen rune set, semi ap/jungle mastery for him with ap/magic pen item build for him.

I find personally, start with doran's ring, then sorc boots, save bulk for ROA, then Zhonya's, then Rabadon's, then void staff... if you get this late in the game, then either WoA or Morello's.

I find with the doran's ring, and the scaling of his drain/fear/ult gives him the biggest sustain in mid lane than any other champ... alot of the times i can combo burst 90% of the champs that mid up until 10/11 without any items.

Ult, fear, silence, drain, ignite. Dead

*Edit: Forgot summoner spells, flash/ignite. The thing with fiddle, is you need to know where good gank spots are. In mid, i like the thin banks of the river, ppl think you just B then out pops the scarecrow noise, and all hell breaks loose, and then they ward the bush which makes it even funnier! :>

As m0n4g3 said, he's not as crazy as he seems to you right now. He's a strong champ, but smart players can shut him down. (Simple example: Fidd crowstorms into a fight. Noobs try to flee and lose a minimum of 1 player, perhaps the whole team. Experienced players just kill him instead - which only works if everyone switches focus to him nigh on instantly.) He's very tanky vs single players thanks to drain and his cc, but he's squishy vs a mob. This is why Fiddle normally ults into existing teamfights, rather than initiating them himself.

Incidentally, Fidd is the best example of a champ that benefits from smart casting. Without it, you can't reliably beat out their silence/stun with your fear when crowstorming in.

BTW, try Rylai's Crystal Scepter on Fidd. More health in the bank, more AP, but more importantly, a nice heavy slow to keep them in range with drain, and a whole team slow on the ult / silence. Also consider Zhonya's hourglass once you have trouble surviving the duration of your own ult.

I hated mouseover's too... lol. I think because I was always more of a twitch player in FPS' (which I grew up playing)... so I've always found myself fast enough to twitch click whatever I want. I know it is just a reversal if I aim first then Q, W, E or R... but I think it is something about the click following the twitch

Maybe I should give it another go while I'm still low ranked and getting my skills back from hiatus >.< Or I spose I could play normals... but... pff normals!

This is exactly the excuse my mate kept using, that he was 'fast enough' already.

Suffice to say, he's much faster now.

all you do is turn on your W and run along side enemies, they die pretty steadily plus they are slowed. with sunfire you got the extra AoE, Rylai's gives you the slow effect when you deal magic, Abyssal gives you magic penetration, sunfire + rylai's = warmog's armour plus you got resists and a decent AP buff. Add a angel guardian for extra trolololol
I usually go a suicide bomber build (deathcap, morello's, sometimes a zhonas hourglass), but always with the slow from Rylai's. If I ulti a group with my health drain and e as many as possible most teams are around a quarter health left. I die a lot but if my team mates can't finish a bunch of low healthers that's their problem That build is also surprisingly good against tanks.

Less clicks means it's impossible to not be faster. Whenever I show new people the game I show them smartcast right off the bat.

Except that 10 years of muscle memory is not quickly undone.

I know it'd be faster if I put the effort in... but I think it is so ingrained that the time it would take for me to practice smartcasting to the point where the benefit overtook the awkwardness from fighting muscle memory, would measure in the month's rather than hours or days.

Nice to see this thread moving again. I've been off playing some stress free mind numbing "single player" games.

I've gotta get back into this as well. Diablo is really turning my brain into mush.

Nothing gets the heart racing like some crazy LoL action.

I logged in this morning for a couple of games and there was a 17 min queue!!

Wondering if I was in that game... did that fiddle also get 3 x quadrakills?

If so, I was the Nautilus, we were doing OK at the beginning of the game, except for the Teemo who got caught a number of times and fed bot lane... maybe lag or something who knows. Either way, we could have won that game had it not been for the quadras.

Just got back into this game...is there news that the dev are going to decrease the surrender timer soon or what? 10..even 15 minutes would be appreciated..20 is just ridiculous. You know a match is over when your other 4 teammate have feed the opposition to like 10-0 in 2 minutes. By that time I feel like just quitting and having a luck at another game however i heard they strict and you could get banned for leaving a game.

I wasted a hour of my life yesterday...3 games, all a bunch of noobs...game was lost within 5 minutes everytime yet I had to sit around and do nothing to the 20 minute mark. This one of the main reason I stopped playing the first time...looks like history going to repeat itself
