pretty sure removing any of the rear tail lights would go against the ADR

It's not really a matter of money, most of the work i know how to do myself, just something to muck around on in my spare time

I can remove the ones on the boot, so long as they are implemented in the left/right tail lights

just want to clean some panels up, muck around with some ideas, have fun in my spare time and learn some new skills on something a bit cheaper so in future i can go all out on something nicer.

it just seemed like changing suspension and the small amount of panel work wasn't extremely hard, hence why i thought it was sarcastic.

apologies to M3K, same applies elsewhere though, didn't realise skill building and messing around with some ideas for fun was such a crime. everyone started somewhere and id rather try some things on a car for this price than something far more expensive. And besides, its a nice little car, i don't see the need for power based modification as i won't be taking it to a track day, and apart from that, the only thing they are good for is from going from 0- the speed limit faster, big whoop.

edit - but like i said, im all for the chops, hell i shouldn't have expected any less, and they are funny which is a good laugh.

I think everyone here is used to ZOMGBBQ just got my P's gonna get a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet pulsar and shave it and lower it and like take all the badges off and its totally gonna be the coolest thing and yeah Im gonna do it all myself and metal finish it and....

When they live in a apartment with parents, no money, no clue but lots of time, keyboard and mouth. If you can metal work and paint well enough to actually do it then you are the 0.000000000000001% of posters!

Pics needs moar stickers... and a racing stripe!

Ahk,

bit of a mix up then. i've always been hands on, even from my first car, i like to do and learn and there's nothing better than getting yourself in the thick of it. So since turning 17 i've read countless pages and tried a number of different things just to see if i could, and as a bonus try to learn some new skills.

That's what the thread was about, whether or not the end product was worth it. I've never wanted rice, nor stupid exhausts or stupidly loud subs (i've found in the last few installs that a well tuned midbass was enough for me)

and like i said, power isn't a big thing for me. sure, if i had the money for a track car, or the balls to drive one on a track day, it might catch some of my attention. But for now just trying to do some new things and make it looks different/nicer is a fun pass-time that i actually get some form of skill from (even if it's just practice makes perfect)
