Yeah, she gives me a hard time about it. I was never a cat person previously - just simply never met a cat I liked. This one has a much gentler temperament than most, so we get on well. I like lazy animals. We have so much in common.

My cat not only plays fetch but begs me to play each day if I forget. I have a toy mouse I keep in a chest of drawers and if I leave the drawer ajar my cat gets the mouse out and brings it to me. When I throw it across the room he fetches it and brings it back, drops the mouse next to me on my couch and hops back down onto the floor and waits for me to throw it again. He's the only cat I've ever seen that does this.

The reason we chose her was because of her temperament (same with our dog). With three kids, we knew that any pets we got would have to be very patient, and put up with all sorts of shit.

A little blurry thanks to someone doing the dash when she knew she was busted, but here's our cat in the box for a new purchase, less then 10 minutes after it was emptied & while I was setting up.

One of my cats insists on sitting on my lap when it is already occupied with one of my dogs. She just piles on top of us both.
