Well I tried to install it yesterday on a formatted clean install of Win7 x86, X24400+, AM2 Gigabyte mobo (690G chipset will edit with exact model later) and the latest version of ET6 (AMD flavour) crashes on startup/program launch

So that's the extent of my feedback.

I don't know if this can be expanded, but definitely is one of the factors that I would look for in a motherboard. I love the black theme on the IO plate too - looking great.

I know this isn't really 100% related to the software at hand, but hey, it's feedback, right?
this is on the theme actually and good feedback indeed

It has a straightforward and feature filled layout, just the way I like it.

That being said, I find OC Guru 1 and 2 to be plain infuriating. OC Guru 1 does not have the straight forward layout, features and fine tweaking ability of afterburner. In fact, the only feature where afterburner does not completely dominate is the power saving abilities of OC Guru. OC Guru 2? I installed it, uninstalled straight away. Completely useless.

The part that doesn't make sense though, is that compared to the features and polish of easytune, OC Guru is an embarrassing example of a company falling well short of a capable benchmark.

Why is that, Dinos? Are they going to fix this or continue to let competitors make better software for their products?
Hey mate,

I work very closely with the motherboard team and am able to directly push feedback and implement changes in various things from hardware design, bios and software design. Unfortunately i dont have a great pull on the GPU side so it's hard for me to comment on that.

I'm still thinking of ideas, but this is more trivial but still an annoyance non the less.

Perhaps GB could let us choose what lights can go on, on our motherboards. For example, there's a thread on the forums now actually. The blue OC led light it very bright and people might like to turn it off but there is no provision to do so. (as far as im aware)

Just a though

btw Raykey, your idea about lights is actually something i'm working on atm. it's a bit of a pet project, not sure how much of it can be done and how well. Resources and $ get in the way of cool ideas sometimes LOL

Last point is certainly true.

I'm throwing random ideas here, how about a graphics overlay for some parameters like Temps, voltages and perhaps FPS..

That way, I can uninstall Afterburner

EDIT 1: Also, in the bios, when you go up to a certain voltage, the colours change to signify 'danger danger', maybe that can be implemented here as well?
EDIT 2: Have automatic profiles been discussed? Where when a certain program is executed, it loads a profile.

Why have both GTL and ezy tune, GTL seems simple and it works unlike ezy tune. So many times i've had to uninstall ET6 because its buggy and bauks certain benchies eg. Super Pi, but then i couldn't mess with settings in windows. Thank the gods for GTL if onlyl it would work on older boards?

It has plenty of nice features just needs the bugs gone

GTL is for experienced benchers predominantly while ET6 is more of an allrounder. We will integrate bios flashing ability as well and a host of other features. It's just a full featured software for general users.

GTL is cool, im happy they finally listened to us and did it heh . It will only be developed and updated for current and future boards though.

Cool man well once they iron out some of ET bugs how about a stability tester for cpu and ram, option to set gpu clocks voltages etc. Kinda like an all in one system tuner.

I'd love some sort of Gigabyte Control Panel, with ET6, DES, Smart 6, @Bios in one big epic program
