That's really weird man. Haven't had the problem with 2 different copies of the game on 3 different PS3s :/

Maybe a scratch on the disc or something? Good luck getting the problem solved!

Yeah ive put in a complaint to Ubisoft, I noticed the disc is really thin compared to other PS3 discs, enough that holding it up I can see the writing from the other side clearly

do you get this also ?

Just checked my disc and I can read the heading through the disc, but only if I hold it up to a decently strong light. Not sure if it's really any thinner than any other disc though.

Rav,

Are you using a fat or slim PS3? I'm using a slim PS3 and haven't experienced the issues you mention. However, what I found strange was that the load times seemed to increase when I changed the audio output from HDMI to multi-AV.

I only got it today (via Amazon). I'm running the same -PS3 > Amp > TV via HDMI without any noticable lag issues. They might show up more than a couple of hours in with some intricate work, but we'll see. I haven't installed the patches yet -but they do have a lag adjuster in the latest patch I believe.

I also need to buy an electric rather than plugging my acoustic in though

Well I bit the bullet and brought a copy from a local shop

I figured the extra price is to cover for if it stuffs ups again

huge difference with the new disk, loading time are halved and its not crashing anymore

must have been a dodgy disk

It's for sale locally now? I didn't even see/hear of any release, etc...

Good to hear your issue is sorted I need to blow the dust off this thing and get going, having a newborn really has eaten up too much time lately!

the bank by the same name should just STFU and take 3% of the profits for naming rights and be done with it...

they could also just change the games name to "Smithin'Rock" EU

Agreed, I dont know why more bands just take a cut rather than suing outright

Its Win Win if you take a cut because if its good, you make money. If its not, no one cares
