currently at 88MHz GPU offset and 97 memory offset. (Current highest stable on core with kombustor, haven't played with memory much)

Anyone know the average stable overclock of these cards.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20 GHz
Ram : 32GB
Motherboard: Asus Rampage Extreme IV
Case: Coolermaster Stormtrooper (<--- epic name and useful handle)
driver's: the latest on all. fully updated including motherboard firmware
Hmmm, i used OC Scanner x so not sure.. I used 304.42 beta drivers for all my tests as i found them best. You should be able to get a fair bit higher than that. And you have all the good gear. So +88 is the highest for one card ?? What driver version and r you on pcie Gen 2 or 3 ?

My max stable clock for everything was 1340mhz. Coz what one prog may pass another will not. was 1360mhz for 3dmark11 and for heaven and games it was 1340mhz..

PCI 3.0 slots but according to GPU-z the card is only useing them as 2.0 (at least in the times i've looked at it)

Thanks for any help lol, I'm starting to think this card doesn't like me

Okay, only if you like.. Make sure in bios is set to Gen3 on all slots.. Then get 304.48 drivers and install, and then get force enable pcie3.0 patch and run it, then reboot! Then try again, if you can be bothered. lol

Checked bios for pci setting but couldn't find it, will come back to that for another look if the other advice fails
I didn't think of the beta's. downloading that one now. that'll take 20min so I may as well get a drink while I wait

Thanks again for the help, this community is awesome. (I should start hanging more around here then whingpool )

I was blind lol, but it was already on gen 3, however that patch worked nicely according gpu-z its now using 3.0.
Just started playing with the clocks again on the above driver (304.48) but not much luck yet.

maxed out the voltage to see if it helps my 100mhz offset (didn't help before on old driver and pci 2.0)
I'll get the core right before i touch the memory

EDIT: lasted about 7minutes before crashing the benchmark
Running same speed test with manual fan control (75%)
EDIT 2: It still crashed but took longer (prob a fluke) held temp below 60 so prob not temps fault.

So, +100 ? that about 1300mhz boost core ? Kombuster is obviously very intensive.. hmmm

yeah works out at 1302mhz, though I have to drop below it another 10-20mhz not to crash.

Above was with power limit and core voltage maxed, though I think i heard something about the voltage not working with afterburner atm. (could be remembering it wrong, it was a couple days ago)

Yeah thats a little low still. I could do 1330mhz and leave anything on forever.. Umm, have you tried games and or 3dmark11 runs yet ?

You should be 100% rock stable at 1300 but so many variables i dunno aye.. Is your cards core at 1201mhz on unlocked bios at +0 core ?? For now just leave the voltage slider all the way to right as it won't do much currently. Yes, software voltage adjustment will be available on MSI ab 2.2.3

Havn't tested games or other benchmarks at these overclock speeds. Only on the slightly slower 80mhz offset i've saved on afterburner.
I assumed that if kombuster was crashings others would eventually too. Or isn't this always the case

EDIT: lol I just saw your edit. Yeah according to afterburner it runs at 1202 core clock when at +0 offset.

Yeah no probs. Heaven is more demanding and will crash earlier than 3dmark will. Yeah just have a play around with them all and maybe you come to an average OC lvl that your happy with. Your still fairly high so its not like your cards are a fail.. LOL Everyone's different.

lol heaven crap's itself on the 83mhz overclock i had saved cause it was stable in konbustor. (On max everything except the 3d setting)
Actually scaling the overclock back to see what it likes. (its stable on the normal clock)
50mhz core offset seems to work fine so the max stable for it seems to be between 50 and 74 (crashed on 75 before trying 50)

EDIT: I take that back , I left heaven running at 50mhz offset while I went to watch the new spiderman movie (3d) and it died at some stage during that time.
