Default Double/Triple? Boot Logo p67

Hey guys,

Ive had this issue since i got the mobo originally but i have never bothered to fix it, and ive decided its time to

When i power up my system this is what i get.

Asus Logo flashes up for half a second,
Black screen with a _ flashing
Asus logo flashes up for 2 seconds
Black screen with something about ACHI mode/ HDD not detected? Go figure
Asus Logo flashes up for 5 seconds
System boots up fine

How the hell do i get rid of/fix the first two logos, giving me the sh*ts and slows down the boot.

specs are as follows:

i5 2500K @ 5.0, 1.4V Raystorm Block
Sabertooth P67 b3 : http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Int...ABERTOOTH_P67/
4x4g Vengeance @ 1600 9-9-9-24
Gigabyte Gtx 680 Reference
OCZ Agility 3 120G
1TB HDD
Xoner Dx
Strider gold 1000w

Any help would be great

cheers

if you go to the bios, in system settings or boot settings, you can "TURN OFF FULLSCREEN LOGO"

try doing that, also press pause break key when that AHCI error comes up and elaborate on it for us.

Do you actually have any thing connected to the Marvel controller?
If Not, you can disable it in the bios, with my bios its under Onboard hardware settings.

You can normally turn off Gigabit Lan
Marvell controllers

ETC

Does it have that express gate thingy? You can turn that off, too.

I don't have the same motherboard, or know what bios you've got, but on (one of) mine, it's under "tools".

No, the P67 Sabertooth does not have expressgate.........................

At present, the only thing I see is the American Megatrends Screen

Ok, on my Saber: -

I have both the JMB OPROM and the Marvell controllers disabled.
Everything is in AHCI mode.
Renesas USB is disabled
Numlock boot enabled
Do not wait for F1 if error
Ensure boot priority is for main HDD
Disable intel PXE boot

etc

Let me know how you go
