Does anyone have any solutions as to restricting your upload speed to upload photos to smugmug (or I guess it extends to any other software).
I want to leave my computer unattended to upload say 20kb/s (household max upload is about 40kb/s) over a few months to store all my photos online without being too devastating on other people using the internet. I had a good look (maybe not good enough?) at smugmug uploaders but no one seems to have the feature. Would I need to restrict my PC entirely to achieve a capped upload speed? |

You can just get an app on your PC that throttles specific apps. One of the other network gurus can suggest one im sure. Many use them to throttle their housemates who are none the wiser

Try netlimiter. I've used it in the past and works pretty well.
