In Perth, WA the current temps are sitting around 2 degrees at night whilst during the day it sits at a nice 21 degrees.

The cpu temp at night hovers around 14 degrees in the day it sits around 27 degrees.

I am using an old i7-2600S which is my 24/7 torrent box setup.

I do not overclock my setup, because it's totally unnecessary.

Why do you want one that is so tall?

Delta makes some fans (the GFB series in particular) that are almost 90mm thick. Stick one on a Scythe Orochi and you'll be not far off 250mm total height. However, it should be noted that a 66W 92mm fan is going to be a little bit noisy. Delta claims 73.4dB; the EPA reckons you can get permanent hearing loss at 70dB.

A better option would be the FFB and TFA 140x140x50mm fans, which will move plenty of air while producing much less noise. However, they're obviously not quite so tall.

Thanks for the help, I'll definitely look into that.

Noise doesn't bother me, in fact, the noisier the better.
My CPU fan revs it's guts out every time my PC goes to sleep, which sounds, well, intimidating
