possibly guys binning for higher clocking cpus.

though not sure theres a lot of that really going on, here at least.
around here its more likely guys are binning for "lowest possible volts for X speed". saw same thing with SB (guys chasing ~1.4v or less 5ghz cpus), and seeing same with ivy.
