I probably should have played it when I had SLI GTX 570s for the higher frame rates. - I switched to the single gtx 680 as a means to combat my insanely high power bills.
Don't forget to fix the FoV, if you haven't already.

Tried using the .cfg in the installation directory, but it doesn't appear to have done anything.. Is there another method or .cfg location?

Still one of the best in-game storytelling experiences I've had.
Not as immersive as stalker, but a more enjoyable game all-round I think.
And less for hardcore players.

It was neutered for console, but I still love it. Ranger difficulties make it so much more enjoyable, especially when you take the severe shortage of ammunition into account. I'm hanging out for Last Light.

Yeah. "Ranger Hardcore" is the way to go.

It's not really even harder, just... Better.

Hmm will have to look into that..

Up to level 4, I think it is.. Couldn't work out why I had strange mouse lag. Been mucking about for ages trying to work out what had gone wrong... Finally realise it was because the child is on my back in the game. That part could have used a little visual 'tip' on screen.

So.. i have 2 accounts, one for me, one for the wife.
We both have this game...
EVERY time we change user metro 2033 wants to download 1.8GB(hers)-1.9GB(mine)
we cannot play the game with out doing the update.
deleted clientregistry.blob
verified cache (1 file fails and wants to download)

no change

Any ideas?
