That's not all. Lower IQ, too.

Yet I still have just as much fun with what looks like an inappropriate hardware with very limited system resources.

I am looking at this one..any good?

http://www.computeralliance.com.au/p...?qryPart=13763

NVIDIA GTX670 2GB Gigabyte PCIe Video Card PN N670OC-2GD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 GPU, Core Base clock: 980 MHz Boost clock: 1058 MHz, 6008 MHz Memory, 2GB DDR5, PCIe 3.0, Dual-link DVI-I, DVI-D,

Thanks for all the help and recommendations!!
I have the card and while I can only overclock the factory OC to about 1215MHz at the core's highest clock it still does a damn good job with BF3 on MP maps with high to ultra settings..going between 70-130fps.

the average clock is about 1235MHz while there have been some people who have pushed it over the 1300MHz barrier that's pretty much a luck of the draw. if you can pull off anything over 1200MHz then i think you gotta good card. This card is the 2nd quietest 670 that's out on the market atm with the most quiet one i have seen go to the ASUS 670 DCU2....the fans are like "what fan noise?" all other 670 cards have louder fans...louder than the gigabyte card.

this card also got rated the best all-rounder 670 card by tom's hardware. while it doesn't have an aggressive factory overclock like the asus 670 DCU2, the fan tables written into the gigabyte 670 make it a decent competitor and general cooling is better both at idle and at load....mine doesn't even touch 60 deg C on any of the BF3 MP maps i have played and 60 deg C is considered cool by many standards.

so should you get this card? from my experience and usage of this card i say yes, most definitely.

When GTX670OC came out, it annoyed quite a few reference GTX680 owners because GTX670OC would score slightly higher because that Windforce cooler was keeping it below 70 degrees C (ie. no throttling).

670 SLI rocks. I feel bad about my 690 purchase. It's that good.

They don't win in the overall scores but they're the highest for the GTX 670! read before you call people out!

If you overvolt? Most likely yes. I think the 460's have a voltage cap iirc you can unlock the voltage cap and push the voltage even further, then you could kill it quite easily.

Ahh sweet. I was just curious how far I could get. Using stock coolers so it would be too loud to have the fan at 100% with a big overclock.

VRAM using 5760x1080 in 3D vision

Helpful.
