Default Apache via dst-nat (on OS X)

I'm currently trying to get a default landing page up and running for users I have banned off my network for breaching usage agreements.

I have a dst-nat rule running in my firewall that catches all web traffic (port 80, 443) and forwards it to an internal mac os x server running apache.

trouble is, it looks like apache is seeing the 'target url' and ignoring the requests. (if i forward the traffic to say, a router's web interface it works fine)

can/how can i get apache to not care about what url is sent to it, and just send out the landing page?

**excuse the vagueness, it has been years since i have had to deal with apache at all - usually just do the network side of things

What version of OS X server are you running? Essentially all you need to do is make a wildcard virtualhost.

pretty sure they are still running 10.6.8.

I assumed a wildcard virtual host is what we needed, however as I dont usually deal with web stuff how would i go about doing this?

assume its just adding a:
ServerAlias *
to the httpd.conf?

**unrelated note.. seems the edit button isnt there =x
***its back.

upon further inspection it looks like it was the bloody mikrotik router we have not doing the dst nat correctly.

ended up having to redirect all port 80 traffic (for specified addresslist) to the internal port of its webproxy, and set the parant proxy to the landing page. (only thing the proxy is used for).
this got it working as intended. but dayum is it a workaround and a half.
