It's actually worth taking long range shots with the 105 sometimes - because it's a low velocity round with a high arc you'll often hit top armour instead of front, and even better if you're shooting at an open-topped vehicle. Of course, you'll miss more often than not, depending on the crew skill. Personally I pay credits to train 75% crew at tier 4 and above.

It's always worth taking shots with a derp, iirc WoT uses gaussian distribution.

Had a quick game earlier and actually destroyed a Lowe' (that was at 100%) he couldn't find my hiding place and was to preoccupied in shooting at a leopard, was a laugh tho as it took 30 hits to kill him.

Just a heads up... Tier 9 tanks (and the Lorraine 40t) are going on sale for the next few days on the SEA server. I assume this is to try accelerate the population growth for the big end of town as I don't recall such high tier tanks ever going on sale on the US server.

I am on sea server. DoDo give 120-150ms which is not too bad. I tried the 7.5ct and liked the t110e4, going to try for that one. Also tried the PZE100 thing, nasty cannon on it, will likely get that some time also. However felt the E4 was more versatile etc..

Keep eye for items and tanks that go on special. NEVER miss the 3x or 5x days when they occur (I have missed before). Try and have a few tank lines in garage you want to focus on so you can benefit from x2-x5 experience.

If you never plan to spend cash to get gold then the grinding can be slow, otherwise you can get premium account and receive a good boost.

Got three high tiers to grind now. Patton, M103, and IS8. 2 with 150k+ grinds lol

@Prime I can get 150 to 200's while d/l @ 900 ehe

Since I have got my IS3 it seems as I have a big " bulls-eye " painted on it.

Tip: High tier artillery* cannot hit anything until the crew gets up to about 85%.

*assumption that SU-8 with big gun is high tier

Just after some tips. Have saved up 1.5 million and have enough xp to buy either the Vk3002DB or (with 1000 more xp) a tiger. Currently using the v3601 fake tiger. Just a little hesitant to upgrade to tier 7 due the costs (the tier 6 leaves me in the red often). Part of me is happy to just stay with tier 6. Could also upgrade the Stug to The JagdPanzer but I only hear bad things about it (my panzer 4 easily dispatched one yesterday).
