I'm on the 1404 bios, i think thats the latest one and for me gives alot of stability, it's holding my 3930k @ 5.2ghz and allowing a nice oc on ram just wish my lightning could go higher, but it's limited on to around 1412mhz on air atm i think
Yeah sweet, 1404 is what im using and i find it the best also, its opened so much more for me now! Waterblocks FTW! And hell yeh, got some really cold night / mornings coming up so Bench bench guys..

P.S Any one need a 1250w PSU ? :P

We think so, I would have thought 850w (950 peak) would have been enough but maybe not.

PM coming ICE

Maybe check first. I don't like running things at there absolute limit so its always good to have plenty of leeway in regards to Power but no point buying a BIG PSU unless you need to really. For what your explaining, that sounds like the issue but you never know unless you 100% check obviously!

I know from what i see here that once you start to really OC everything together the power really adds up..

I was going to buy a 1000w Silverstone, seem like good value at $230, 1250 is way overkill but it cant hurt either.

Yes true, but then again.. If you ever run another Lighting OC,d in SLI, your going to be on the limit of the 1000w again.. LOL Volting and raising the power target to the max increases TDP and power draw by a massive amount when OCing these cards.. If you were running a stock 680 with OC i would say No, its not your PSU..

if you bench, it could mean the difference between giving yourself a herdier bending down to the powerboard constantly or simply flicking a switch. im scared of that zapping sound when u pull the lead off >.>
