There's a whole bunch of free play old arcade machines at the Game Masters exhibit at fed square in Melbourne at the moment. Machines included among many others donkey kong, pacman, robotron, xevious, centipede, daytona etc. There's also console games, handhelds, pc games, dance, rockband, singstar etc. It's $22 entry but worth a look if you have the time.

That's pretty cool. I visited a place like this in San Francisco in 2010 and again in 2011. Had the best time ever playing Moon Patrol again. Also, Sunset Riders. Ohmigosh. Sunset Riders. Ohmigosh

I dream of this stuff and was lucky enough to make it to barcade with a friend last year. We had a blast and its killed any other 'nightlife' experience I've managed.

Would be great to see someone emulate this but I'm not sure if the same success could be emulated.
