Default Beyerdynamic DT-440 Pricing

Saw two different pricing on Beyerdynamic DT-440

http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=20548
$149

http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=5
$189

Will there be any different?

Nope, you will get better warranty and pre-sales service from headphones.com.au though.

What's wrong with a PCCG warranty?

I didn't say there was anything wrong with PCCG warranty I said you will get excellent warranty service from headphones.

I misunderstood, I thought you said there would be a difference in warranties (they are both the same length and terms?)

EDIT: Can you explain why one is better than another?

Reasons why I'd rather deal with Headphonics:
No.1 Headphonics is an OCAU sponsor i believe
No.2 They specialise in headphones, so unless you know EXACTLY what you need, then id go to headphonics as they can advise what would suit your needs the best.
No.3 As stated, they(imo) would be way easier to deal with RE warranty or any other customer service matter. Big call i know considering i havent dealt with PCCG in a number of years, but i reckon it would be pretty hard to find better service than headphonics.
No.4 Probably won't help you, but tehy are like 5mins down the road from my work

Don't quote me on this, but they MAY try and pricematch or at least get closer to PCCG price???

They may give great service but both are OCAU sponsors right? And don't both have to honour the warranty?

Another thing to remember is that it takes approximately an infinite amount of time to ship stuff in from Waiting Around to Brisbane than it does to ship it from Melbourne to Brisbane.

Ok lets put it this way; would you rather buy a kitchen knife from Coles or pay a few bucks more and get it from a proper knife shop?

If it's an identical knife, and I know it's the one that I want, I'd get it from coles. If I didn't know what I wanted, I'd go to a knife shop, and ask the professionals. Then, depending on how cheap I was feeling, I'd either buy the knife from the kitchen shop, coles, or order it online for cheaper than either option.

If the knives are the SAME and I know the shop is reputable, I'd go to the place where it's cheapest ROFL.

Exactly what i meant with point 2, sounds like the op(please dont take offence) doesn't really know much about headphones, so it may pay to research a bit more? OR the easier and just as good option, go to headphonics and get them to find the best suited pair

Quote the PC case gear web site "Stock clearance! (normally $199, strictly while stocks last)" so normally they would be $10 dearer at PC case gear.

Nuff said

Identical headphones. Ask headphones.com.au if they are willing to price match. They probably won't given they have free shipping.

Also check out addictedtoaudio.com.au. Also free express shipping.

Well if they are the headphones you want to get, and haven't had to ask Headphones.com.au about recommendations or anything then go for the cheapest. But if you've asked for advice etc then it seems a bit of a dog move to get them elsewhere.
