eBay has a wide variety of notebook skins. Several companies offer backlit keyboards. That deals with most of the customisation options.

Just looks like vinyl wrapping your laptop? Thought about DIY?

DIY? Wouldn't know where to get materials and tools from :C

I suppose it depends on what you want on it? Carbon fibre? Brushed aluminium? A solid colour?

I think ebay would be an okay place to look for the vinyl, and I'm certain there are a tonne of guides out there for applying it - there is at least for cars.

I also think someone on here wrapped their laptop in carbon fibre vinyl.

Here's a google search, looks like a few good diy videos with instructions...
