Awesome Sammy Boi! Lucky. Supposedly it was a batch that was manufactured, where, if the 12v rail was producing greater than 12v it would cause the magnet to misalign the impeller slightly causing it to produce a buzzing type noise. That is what I read, not particularly correct.

The actual rpm of mine and its cooling ability for what it is, is actually pretty good. Just the noise is annoying and quite loud, especially when the fans are in a low power state.

I was hoping the replacement would arrive today, but most probably tomorrow

Just tested mine without being mounted to mobo, held it vertically, and no noise! Apart from the jet taking off somewhere near where the fans are.
Time to put everything it and give her a spin.

i think lot 122xxxx should be okay.

my replacement was from 122 and it has been okay so far (two weeks or so now)

if there is noise it should be apparent after a few hours judging from my last unit...

now for some replacement fans...

Yeah my pump was nice and silent, kept it running for about 5 minutes to make sure. Important pretty sure the pump needs to be vertical aswell, as someone said in the previous page.

By the sounds of it it is just luck of the draw. But corsair are doing advanced rma's so it shouldnt be to much of a concern.

Has anyone had problems with the fan controllers on the h100's? Mine are spinning to 100% on startup, then slowing down. But if i load it up it won't spin back up to 100% (can tell easily by listening). Ive tried it on all 3 settings and makes no difference.
