Default Stupid question time

Can you use a sata power cable string from an HX-850 plugged into the gpu power outlet of a HX-620?

The cable plugs in just fine, but don't want to try it in case I let out all the magic smoke

SOMETIMES THEY ARE WIRED DIFF you have to check if power line order match(you can do this with a voltmeter etc.. just check conunity..

ie. if plug pin 1 s the same as 2nd lower model cable.

i know the older 800+w xalmans vs 600w would plug in, but wired dif(had customer blow /burn a psu

but the 500w+600w+750 where the same..so check first
