Hey CD. Where did ya get the carbon fiber wrap? Digging the looks of it, and possibly would get some for my TJ08-E build.

The 3D carbon fiber vinyl wrap was actually bought off ebay China lol.
It's was the largest size i could find. 1200 x 1000 and i think it was around $4 with free postage and contained the word "sample" in the title(can find the exact seller if you want?). It's not the 3M top shelf stuff but i have no problems with it and i managed to wrap the internals of 2 PC's and various other things

Looks pretty clean GPU's are craving some blocks and I'm not a fan of people using Carbon Fibre in anything.. computer orientated.

But its your build and kudos

Member id emorodo

http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/Cars-Bike...=p3286.c0.m282

It took about 2 weeks to arrive and came rolled and wrapped in paper. It got semi crushed but i just unrolled it and wrapped it around a postal tube a for a week to flatten it out.

Hope this helps

Your right, the GPU's are crying out for some blocks and they will get some eventually but not any time soon. The budget blew out a bit on this one

The Tygon over size tubing arrived today.
It is not visiably that much bigger than normal 3/4 tubing but it is noticeable when tightening the compression. Fits snugly over the barbs. I'm not too worried about it leaking lol. The only problem i have founs so far is getting the compression rings onto the threads of my Koolance QDC's... thats gonna be a bit ouchie

This is how the Koolance quick disconnects ended up....

As you can see, it's not gone well. It now looks like i will have to leave them out of the build

OH NO, the massively expensive flow killing, leaking, mostly useless fittings will have to be left out?
What a shame...

I have to admit, they kill flow very hard, i got rid of mine honostly if you plan your tubing well you dont need quick disconnects. A well placed T-line will be perfect for draining a loop.

The main reason the the QDC's was to be able to still be able to take advantage of the motherboard tray and as i am unable to get one under the reservoir to connect to the bottom, it sorta defeats the purpose of using them at all as that would end up being an anchor point.

I'll just add them to the bunch of unusable stuff i have.... i shall call it the fail pile lol.
I'm going to keep one of them to use for quick draining though

I must admit though, the QDC's came in very handy on my T60 so they do have some use for some people. I'm just not one of those people and this is not one of those builds.

@ Moptimus
The tubing is too fat for the Koolance QDC's so i would assume it would be no good for Koolance comps either. Fit's the BP's perfect though

Got this sorted this afternoon also...

Not sure if i will using comps to pass though this yet as it is the perfect size for the tubing. It would look better with the comps but would make connecting those parts much harder. I would need triple jointed wrists and 8 jointed fingers to tighten the comp on the inside.
If i choose not to use comps here, it would mean that i might be able to have everything connected and tubed up by Monday.....decisions, decisions...

If that is the top, well I have no idea what you have going on there. I figure if it is out of sight then some barbs with clamps will not hurt at all.

Small update time

It's not that i have neglected this project or have continued on without any updates. It's more that i am a bit of a slacker lol.

@ Moptimus
This is where the previously pictured piece goes...

I figured out what i am going to use to connect this section along with daisy chaining the reservoirs...

Some BP low profile 90's and BP crystal links...

A front and back side pics of the radiator clearances, or lack of lol. The end tank sits flush against the front side of the PSU and the rear fan sits flush against the PSU. So together, they sit in an L shape around the PSU. Coincidence but i'm happy. I think i will double sided tape the radiator the the floor of the case as it is unlikely to move at all. It is currently sitting on some sponge to hopefully prevent scratching the floor of the case.

Just some random shots i took off my phone...

Currently playing around with a way to leave a Koolance QDC in the build for easy draining. This is what i'm thinking i will end up doing. a single male Koolance QDC on the end of that black BP compression on the bottom left. It is the lowest point in the case so it should allow for a decent drain?
I'm not sure how the QDC is going to go under pump pressure though? All this talk about leaks is making me curious. If it leaks then no big deal, i'll take it out and replace it with a Koolance shut off valve.

My orders have all shipped form their respective countries of origin(UK, US). Still waiting for the sleeving to arrive so i can get stuck into that. I somehow managed to order 80mm fans for the 92mm fan cutouts in the rear of the case....facepalm!

I figure im about 2 weeks from completion but with the way things have been going, i should double that estimate and then pencil date on the calender as the "half way point".
