Just wondering if anyone out there has listened to music with any Bowers & Wilkins headphones and can give an insight as to how they sound?

hey

currently im using a Sennheiser CX 300 Canalphone
What i want is a pair of canalphones with iphone support so i can change tracks etc.. mic not necessary but a welcome bonus
Budget <=$100. What do you recommend?

So far the best I found was Klipsch Image S4i In-Ear Headset with Mic and 3-Button Remote Headphones - White

Will these sound way better than my current set?

death, the CX300s were my first set and they were far too bassy for me, I have Shure se210s and they are 'flatter' sounding with way more detail and great isolation.

I would say that most earbuds (with good isolation) around the 100 mark will sound heaps better than the cx300's. As always though, depends what sound youre after??

I really like them, but a) I haven't read any raving reviews about the Closed version. and b) they look pretty average.

Sadly, the Open version are literally too loud for me to use anywhere but at homes. Planes, public transport and at the office would be out of the question.

DT-770? Bassier, yes, but livelier still.

hey

thanks for that
I looked into the shures the reviews are great but they do have some complaints about the sound cutting off due to detachable cables etc.. but that is for the se215

They said the sound was better on the 215 over the 210s

So far im leaning toward the brainwavez B2 with a separate iphone controller

Agreed. Sennheiser have a decent amount of good gear, but I feel they've been riding the "DJ" vibe for a while.

Relatively neutral sounding cans from what I've heard, and a lot of nice features. Just nothing special from most of the models for the prices.

We sell hundreds of these.

A great addition to any audiophile's collection!

Morning everyone,

I'm looking at getting some headphones for walking around and going to uni. I've got a set of the AD700 that are really good for use at home.

I really like the sound so I was hoping I might be able to get something from the Audiotechnica range.

I have got my eyes on the M50 but not sure how they go walking around all day and being in classes.

Requirements for the headphones.

Cost: $150max
Must be closed design
Driven off a mobile phone. Might look at getting a amp later
Would prefer to have a cable that isn't going to get in the way too much

Thanks

Hey guys, got a pair of ad700s/m50s atm with an xonar essence. Looking to spend about $400 for headphones to really "wow" me. Mostly listen to vocal trance and progressive.

Ideas?

Cheers
