People, help out reags, he find himself in a situation where he is selling, selling some of his Lego sets! He's got an SSD and VW campervan left, if I didn't have a campervan on layby, I'd be taking it!

Check it out here: http://forums.overclockers.com.au/sh....php?t=1046875
ouch. I dread the thought that one day I may have to sell some or all of my lego
At least you know it will always keep its value. Good luck with selling what you need to. I would have snapped up the lambo had I seen the listing sooner

I would advise you keep the SSD and the camper van though (if you can). Those will only go up in value as the years pass.

I have just created a new blog for my Lego Technic building. It is mostly going to be for reviews on my sets, modifications and any other general Lego Technic related topics. I will also be posting up photos of my sets and news on what I have been doing in this hobby.

Oh wow didn't expect this, thanks for the kind words and support daehenoc, appreciate it greatly

I'm still tossing up on the Campervan which is why I'm ok with it not selling as well, but the SSD may need a new home soon (even though it'll likely skyrocket once it goes OOP).

OK - fishman_71 is an idiot. I've known about Bricklink for quite some time (thank you other posters) but was having trouble on fleabay getting some of the Jack Stone stuff, so I could move onto Technic aquisitions.

Went to bricklink to research something else, found an aussie supplier on the 3rd page I looked at...
oh look, they have 1 Jack Stone piece...
it's the one I've been hunting for for 3 months...
oh, they only want 10 US dollars...
and they're in Victoria.....
SCORE!
Ordered Sunday afternoon, it's in the post already and total cost less than 1/3 of the Canadian purchase!

BrickLink can be great sometimes. I got the Volkswagen camper for just over Au$130 delivered from Holland in under a week. Compare to myer at $129 that sold out quickly and had people driving all over town to try to find.

Started building it on the weekend - it's very different to building the Technic stuff I'm used to, and bringing back lots of vanilla Lego memories from childhood.

I'd never use ebay for lego. Only ever had one issue with a fake seller on bricklink, but they're pretty hot on it so i cant see why people would risk it on ebay

Bricklink can be cheap, but after you factor in shipping when you are purchasing a single set, $10 or $20 more to purchase that same set here in AU when you can use suckpal to pay (no, I don't like it), then most people will spend that money on a seller here in AU rather than risking an overseas purchase. I've purchased sets off eBay and bricklink, and was less nervous about the eBay purchases.

90% of the sellers i use are Australian. I did however use international sellers for the batman set i bought (The tumbler) and some rarer parts no aussie sellers had.

I buy from the cheapest seller, the only thing i factopr in is how long i want to wait (if its not important and i can wait 3 weeks, i'll go with international)

Want the A-wing, and disappointed the Headhunter doesn't come with a Mara Jade

Woot, finished the 9395 Tow Truck on the weekend and it wasn't until I had put the decals on that I realised that the phone number was a combination of the set number and the year, 2012

Now to start on the logging truck!

slightly weird question.... but does anyone have any spare Space Police 1 minifigs that they'd be willing to sell?
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=sp036

I need 4 or 5. There are some on bricklink, but mostly in lots of just one, or in groups in stores with large minimum purchases. I'm not worried if it doesn't have a helmet or visor as I have plenty of those.

Please send me a PM if you have any you want to part with. Thanks.

Star Wars Lego is so expensive, hence why I haven't got any yet. Would love a Star Destroyer or Super Star Destroyer though
