you actually got one? or you ordered one? they sometimes say in stock but arn't actually in stock lol.

Well, I ordered one. That's what I meant. I too am a bit skeptical, however, I did get an email of confirmation from EK saying that the order had been received and is now being processed. So I guess that's a good sign, right?

there was a geekhack thread about it before, dont think anyone actually got one.

on a similar topic, im getting my first CC soon, paid $100 for a julysickle lol gonna look sick as on my ducky with white LEDs and rainbow blanks!

Grats!

And yeah, it is a bit strange that they randomly came back in stock, and only that colour. I assume most, if not all of CCs made are once off batches, as they seem to only ever come on sale once for each type of key on EK. Do you know where that thread was?

I just ordered a Filco Blue switch Majestouch 2. Is the Topre much better? I was told PCCG wouldn't be selling them cheap again as they had a one off sale when they first got them in.

Not better, just different imo. I couldn't live with without my red cherry's - perfect for gaming! And the Topre just feel nice for daily usage.

Switch choice is really personal preference. The only way you can know if it's better is if you try it out for yourself. I like both blues and Topre.

If you're willing to spend the cash, $200 for the white 104U at PCCG is a really good deal. That is as cheap as it will ever get for a new one. I paid $219 for my black one during that sale that you mentioned. If you don't like it, you will easily be able to make the money back when you sell it off.

in case anyone is interested here are some shots of my filco (have added billiard set to the Function keys up the top but havn't got around to shooting it yet)
