i have an 2500barton on a km18g/pro m/b with 512 meg of ram ,been running fine until thursday,reboots for no reason,the only thing i can find is the cooling fan is at 3700rpm is this too low

does it reboot under load or just when it is idle? i doubt its the fan rpm; 3700 is quite fast. but if you dont have the heatsink seated properly or didnt apply any thermal grease it may be getting too hot.

another thing you might want to consider is bad ram. but first check the heating problem. goto http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ and download MBM. check the CPU heat. if it's above 60 deg celcius oyu've porbably got a problem

reboots at anytime,temps never go over 41 ,38 ,42 i have 3 sensors,ram is about 8 weeks old,2x256 kingmax 333
sometime i just get a blank screen on boot up |

i have changed hard drives,ttired using 1 stick of ram still doing it.

Is the ram running 1:1 with the FSB (cpu@333, ram @ 333)?

cpu is a xp2500 running at 1830 mhz and ram is at 333
|
