Was the new Ambrose car's livery unveiled or was it just ingalls car?

Cheers

No fair, that purple Elise wasn't there yesterday!

Nice pics I'll upload some of mine eventually. Just got to pick the best of my 678 photos...

What lens did you use?

Sorry Tim but I'm too out of touch with racing to answer the Ambrose/Ingall question.

LA... 678 photos! Good effort! Now all that sorting and processing....

Gibbon, I used a new 24-85 Canon zoom. I had previously been unhappy with its edge sharpness and general sharpness, but was satisfied with its performance today.

Nice pics. How was the crowd? Couldn't make it today unfortunately. What do you think of the lighting affecting the colour of the images?

It was fairly average yesterday, not as many people as I was expecting. They ALWAYS manage to stuff up most of the lighting Very frustrating...

Here are a few (15) of my pics...

The thumbnails look awful for some reason but the main pics should look OK

OP: Just say if you want the link removed

By 1 PM Saturday it was quite crowded. Generally other people there were very understanding, and tried to get out of the way if you were taking a photo of a car.

I used the tungsten setting for most shots. I did a few samples early on, and that setting seemed to give a closer colour match on the car paint job compared with the auto setting. But some shots did have that blueish tint in them.

LA: I like your Torana shot.

Here's my collection of pictures, some are a little bit blurred due to me being concerned about battery life and not using the flash for all the shots

taken with an Olympus C770

lamcdonald, Looks very quiet when you were there. On saturday at around 3-4pm it was very full, hard to get far enough back to get full car shots w/o a wide angle lens.

Ive got some pics as well, but as usual, the lighting is absolute crap in the Convention Centre so most came out crappy Might put a few of the good ones up.

Just a few of the shots I managed to get from the show using my ancient Olympus C-100, I only got 37 reasonable ones, still nice to share the experience

Nice shots trsc. Bit of a pity how they 'hid' that Delorean out the back in the cafe area. Then again, I guess people could look at it as they took a break...
