By ABC I mean the bittorrent client - Not Another Bit-Torrent Client just in case some hasn't heard of it.

I'm still getting this error message:

Try the older abc client as I have heard it has some issues with the newer version. Try this

Are you using sp2? I think sp2 blocks bittorrents ports. Not 100% sure but could be an issue. Otherwise just try sp1 and see if it works. Other than that all I could suggest is to try a different torrent.

I had the same issues with my D-Link 504G, this is my suggestion. Port forward a range of ports from 6681-6699 (I'm guessing you know how to access the router/modems GUI) then open ABC & in 'File' is 'Preferences' in 'preferences' is 'networking' set the ports to match those that you set in the router/modems GUI ie 6681-6699.

The newer versions of ABC use a higher range of ports by default.

Hope this helps or points you in the right direction.
