The link is not working for me.

A 19" laptop would be awsome for LAN's or if you were a GFX designer displaying your work on the road though I would strugle to find a use for it or carry it

yeh, but why would you spend huge amounts of money for essentially a desktop system

get a real desktop, theyre much better value for money

rofl @ people who say link isnt working.. read its URl once u have clicked on it... he fuked up typing it in.

19" fullyfledged laptop isnt useless... it can be used as a LANing machine..or as a professional graphics designer/IT technician...5kg is heavy, but not massivly heavy..prob wouldnt enjoy carrying it for a long walk, but from the car to the living room and back would be fine...

would be nice if it could go sub 4Kg, but hey, cant have eveyrthing.

i did notice mate....what in my post made it seem like i didnt notice? I dont have to comment on every post made.

My post wasn't meant to be derogatory, just informing in a humorously light. Hopefully people have thick enough skin that it didnt bug them. No offense meant...it wasnt meant to be contentious. and is off topic. Ill leave it at that, peace.

I don't know any professional graphic designer or video editor or IT technician that needs a 19" back-breaker. Graphic or video people need their studio. There are way more equipments required than just a computer, and you can't pack all of those in a laptop, so it's pointless to have a 19" beast that eats up battery and is a monster to carry around. These professionals don't work on the road anyway. They only work in their studios.

IT techies definitely don't need a 19" laptop. They want something small and thin and have long battery life to fit in their bags along with zillions of other tools.

This product is only for LAN gamers.

chalk me up as the first then.

I have a few gb of refernce images, I make a model from that...all I need is a pc. I dont need decks, or paper, or pencils etc.

when im freelancing I can be anywhere (japan usually) so I take my workstation with me whenever I go...it takes up a lot more than 5kg...so a very fast dual core 19" laptop + an extra 20" lcd is a great combo.

I know plenty of guys the same as me...some build SFF to haul around, some have 17" powerbooks with external hdd's and dv cams.

I didnt consider a notebook before with any real interest becuase of small size and not enough grunt...but this looks good.

I was interested in 19" samsung...but it was too weak specs wise
