This was a pretty good tribute really, to possibly my closest oldest friend. Someone whom I served in the armed forces with, some 16 years ago. And had since ridden thousands of kilometres behind whilst chasing the taxi...

I can see him sitting back with a guinness, and just smiling that faint smile he'd get when he was the focus of attention.....

Its always tough when you lose a close friend as I did in 1980, a young Indian guy by the name of Daryl who had a GSX1100. Was a real beast back then as it had been modified heavily. Sadly he misjudged an overtaking manoevre in NW WA & collided with a road train. That was the story reported by the cops & I didnt want them to go into details.
I spent a couple of years at school with him & it was a tragic loss of a young life.

Which as our roads become more crowded & vehicles become even more powerful it is becoming an all too familiar sight.

RIP Daryl &
RIP boky.

Teddy

Well we helped push team boky into ocau's top 100 and up over 500,000 points in total.

All machines are now back folding for sunitafe.

I hope team boky keeps up the good work.
