Camera: Canon 350D, Canon Powershot S45 Lenses: 18-55, 28-135 IS USM, 75-300 III USM Accessories: Remote, 4x Batteries, 2x 1GB & 1x 512MB & 1x256MB CF, Speedlite 430EX, Portable HDD with inbuilt card readers. Software: Photoshop CS Gallery link: TBA Photography was something I got interested in in highschool, were I did alot of 35mm B&W, but not having darkroom facilities at home, it fell to the wayside after highschool. Having lost the interest, I finally bought a digital P&S (Canon A100) and greatly enjoyed the digital way of doing things, Upgraded to the S45 (a great P&S, I keep it in my car for inproptue shots), and now the 350D I'm back into the swing of things. My main topics reflect my other passions of IT and cars/motorsports, although I think I'll be keeping an eye on the Iron Photographer comps to try and vary my exposure and hopefully broaden my experience. But it's still just a hobby.

Since high school however i feel out of touch with it, up until a good friend (djjc) reunited me with my love for all things photo. Next few months i will have a Canon 400D and a 70-200mm L Series to play with. Can't Wait!!!

Samsung Digimax A40 4.0mp 3x optical 4x digital 2.0" LCD VGA (640x480) 30fps video w. sound ~160g carry case and wrist strap $173 - JBHI-FI (8mths ago) Memory 1GB 55x SD card (ADATA Myflash) - $36 ebay (5mths ago) Tripods 1. Jenova UF-2000 2. Generic chrome tabletop mini tripod ($4 on sale) Software: Photoshop Mobile Phone Nokia 6680 1.23mp 6x digital zoom Flash Night mode Adjust Sequence mode (burst) Timer Image & video editor QCIF video with audio Storage - 1GB RS-MMC Great deal the samsung A40, love it. So glad i got those specs for the money, that was exactly what i wanted, bought the same one for my aunty for xmas, and decided to get one too. Even now the ~$200 digitals can't seem to match the screen size and video quality. Last edited by josh81; 30th September 2006 at 11:51 AM. |

Cameras: P&S: Fuji Finepix S5500 P&S: shocking cam in my V3X phone ![]() DSLR: Nikon D50 Film: Nikon F401 (broken) with sigma 28-80mm AF Lenses: Nikon 18-70 AF-S DX Tamron AF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Accessories: Crumpler $5mil home + phone pouch Cheap ebay tripod (not putting the D50 on it!) 2 x 1G SD cards (Sandisk) 1 x 128mb XD (Olympus) 1 x 16mb XD (Fuji) assorted bits (blower, card reader etc) Software: Photoshop 7, Nikon Capture 4, Noise ninja. Forgot to mention my favourite style is macro and long exposure. Also love night photography, but need to get some better low light lenses for that, as lugging the crappy tripod is a pain. edit: Yes the fuji does look like a baby DSLR, but it cannot be classed as one. To begin with, the lens is not interchangable, and to focus manually on it is a real PITA!
