ati 3870 X2 crossfire

How would these go in crysis with asus pk5+2gig ram@1066+2.8ghz c2 duo.
Also does anyone have links to reviews to this card.
3d mark06 anyone.
Is this better than a 9600gt.
I cant use nvidia in sli only ati.

Its rated the top CF/SLi. Based on 3dMark Scores Better then 2x9800GTS

I have this card and i get 15,000+ 3d marks with an overclocked Q6600 cpu. i will admit though that crysis doesnt run as nice as ide like it to.

settings for crysis would be 1280x1024 everything on high.
was yours maxed out or do you think it is drivers that give it poor performance.
I have not used ati cards for years so i dont know if cc drivers are as good as nvidia ones

I will add that i have not tried a 3870X2 in crossfire.

I would say its just that crysis is such a hog. Ati are known for there shitty drivers but im pretty sure thats an old issue now. They release drivers every month.

Is this the main reason ati are lagging behind nvidia as the cards seem to be the same (within there categories).
