Edit:

The left stuff is on a 1600x1200mm sheet of 1mm Aluminium, the right on a 900x600 sheet of 2mm.

I'm thinking $600-$700

Nah, just a little PC case I'm putting together.

I've been working on this for a while (as a number of the forum dwellers will atest) and it's taken more than a year to get to this stage. But I'm pretty handy with Autocad now.

The 3D Autocad model is much more impressive to look at. Now I just have to figure out how to hold all of these pieces of metal together.

Now that you mention it, there is a resemblance.

To be precise, it's an Imperator Class Imperial Star Destroyer.

Yup, that's what I bought it for. A couple of hundred feet of this:

And a couple of hundred holes drilled with a 0.5mm drill bit. All illuminated with an LED lighting system.

I spent hours at the Magic of Myth Exhibition in Sydney eyeballing and photographing the 2.59m Star Destroyer, I'm attempting to make an accurate replica at a smaller scale - with a PC in it of course.

It's designed to hold a full sized PC.

The Imperator's hull is 1089.24mm long (gotta love CAD), 656mm wide and 146mm high at the rear end. It will use a 1U Rackmount PSU due to space constraints though and I'll need to use an AGP riser for the video card.
