Good news IG

Are the WU's fed intravenously through a drip?

yes, they are all on IV's

Once they get a little F@H in them though, they will be as good as new. No reason for them to stop the fold though! Problem is I have to make a wise choice on which PC's to install F@H on, cause I don't want it to cause a critical system to crash. F@H is supposed to help save lives, not take em

I have my eyes set on 4 1.7 Ghz celey's in the dictation department as well as one in accounting... hehe

Fantastic news, IG! Not sure if anyone else noticed the irony here...folding for the cure, on hospital PCs...

Curious, how did ya get them to allow you to do it?

Cheers and keep foldin' strong!

How did I get them to let me do it?

Maybe's its because I'm the system admin ... or at least one of them. As long as F@H doesn't cause any problems, my associates don't really care. We have over 70 computers here from 75 Mhz to 2.4 Ghz, so its a hit and miss. I have seven 1Ghz and up PC's sitting behind me waiting for a new home, so I will probably borg them tomorrow.

go OCAU! Fold on.

Unhappy

Bad News. One of the computers I put Folding@Home on ended up getting a corrupt profile. While I know folding@home didn't do it, my associates don't share my beliefs. So bye bye folding@hospital .

But I'll still be folding my heart out @home!

Happy folding!

I've just added an XP2000 and an XP2200 to the team.

so far i've done about 20 WUs over the last week or so...

but the 2200 seems to be whipping the pants off the 2000?

ie 2200 has done 13 wus where the 2000 has only done 7?

why is there so much difference already? I didnt think a 10% CPU advantage for the 2200 would result in such a lead over the 2000 already!?

they are both on for aprox the same time everyday... if anything the 2000 has more folding time than the 2200!
