Nice, but does it fit their 1080ti iCX and FTW3?

Edit: it fits this, doesn't appear FTW3 unless it's just because the part number doesn't exist yet.. Odd if so cause actual hybrid for 1080 was a ftw.

Ive heard the ti dosnt need to shunted like the 1080, its just a matter of silicon lottery and thermals?

Had nothing to do with it, the power limit is what it is. If you dont overclock then you are fine but if you push it past what it would normally run at or have a good GPU that overclocks then you are likely to hit the power limit especially if you up the vcore.

Lower temps seem to make the VRM a bit more efficient which helps.

The 1080ti has the same TDP as the Titan XP and 120% power limit and its easy to hit the PCAP

I remember stuff sold out much quicker when 1070/1080 released sometimes within half an hr or less, some of these are staying in stock for hours.

Wonder how long the evga sc2 iCX will last, will be a popular choice for Aussies.

I'd hazard a guess it's because people are waiting for AIB cards, because the FE cooler (even with the updates) is shit and can't stop the Ti from thermal throttling without ungodly levels of noise
