The aldi alternative (O'Donnells Irish Cream) is as nice as Baileys IMO, and almost half the price

Definitely! Can't go past the cookies and cream one. Half the price of Connoisseur/Sara Lee and tastes twice as good!

The MSA beef stir fry is great, very lean, very tasty.

Freeze it and it lasts forever..

Something like 2.2G fat / 22G protein per 100G. and only $12.99 per KG!

Walked in yesterday and picked up a bottle of banana flavoured ice cream topping/milkshake flavouring. Only $3 and tastes great!

If you need a cheap dishwasher, then go for it.

You can always return it if it doesn't wash well.

But I personally wouldn't buy one. Appliances are one thing I won't skimp one, as good ones should last much longer.

Anybody notice the quality of their tissues are pretty crap (hard) these days?

spot on about the tissues. I did buy a microwave off ALDI which worked for 5 years (some flashy one, shops wanted 300+, got it at Aldi for like 130).

I thought it was just me (tissues)

I will still buy them for the kitchen and general cleaning as the tissues are cheap as hell.

But they are too hard to for my kids.

Woolies have Kleenex 3 ply on sale at woolies at the moment. $1.25 for 95. I just ordered 72 boxes and getting it home delivered. I tried ordering more, but it wouldn't let me.

I doubt the $130 Aldi microwave is anywhere near the quality of a $300 Panasonic Microwave. But at 40% of the price, you can't expect it to.

Father of 2 now. What else do you use tissues for... wink, wink, nudge, nudge...

Seriously we go through a box of the 190 Aldi Tissues a day (and the Aldi ones are cheap enough for me not to complain about). So 72 boxes of 95 tissues won't last that long.

Oh yeah... the Italian made 3 ply serviettes at Aldi are seriously good. $1 for 50 is a bargain. I put them in the Guest Bathroom for guests to dry their hands.
