Anyone here with experience of the Steelseries 840 Headsets.

I am aware of the changes between the 800 & 840 but wanted to hear real life experience of any OCAU users rather than the paid for reviews you find online.

The 840's are not anywhere here in Perth for sale other than JBhifi who want $500 for them which is ridiculously overpriced compared to eastern seaboard shops...

If not the 840's I might wait for the new Razer Threshers ....no solid eta on those in Perth or Australia at large that I can tell?

Any recommendations for a noise cancelling headphone? primarily for use for travel.

Currently thinking of getting the Bose QC35 or QC25. Anything cheaper that is good value?

I just got the Bose QC35 and they are great.

My wife got a pair before flying to the US and she said there was a baby crying most of the trip but she couldnt hear it unless she took the headphones off

I was worried the sound quality would be affected with the NC on, but it sounds as good as my Bose Soundtrue

Thanks, im definately leaning towards the QC35. Can the QC35 be used with the in-flight entertainment system wirelessly? or do you need to use the cable?

Any recommendations for after market cables for Shure se315's? Maybe around $100? Android vol controls a bonus. Anything over $100 is just bs.
