Wow man, that's so nice. Well done. I wish my PSU wasn't so god damn long now and using the fractal pump block is a sneaky trick to avoid the clutter down the bottom right, well done

I got started tonight
This is my very first attempt at a bend and I was pretty happy with myself TBH, no bubbles or flat spots

Some more images of progress made this evening are uploading now. Bending PETG is easy to learn but hard to master I must say...

Battle station:

First double 90:

3 runs done, I also found my pump bracket to get it off the floor, I might grab a pump res combo before progressing further:

One failure, I cut it 4mm to short haha:

Leftovers:

The floor

It is amazing how useful stuffed up cuts can be on subsequent builds. My latest I cut 1 new tube and reused a old 45 degree bend too.

So I don't really know how I'm going to hard tube that bottom right corner TBH. I cant flip that front rad as the outlets will not clear the top rad. The CPU outlet to bottom right rad inlet is to long of a run for the 500mm PETG I think as well so I might do the run from CPU to the end of the GPU then put a 90 degree fitting, then another run to the rad.

Ideas? Grab a 150ml res to clean it up and take out the 250ml?

would cpu -> res -> pump -> rad -> gpu work? would be fiddly though unless you get a pump/res combo.

Pump - cpu - toprad - gpu - bottomrad - res will work.

Having some 90 degree fittings will make it easier and neater especially the pump to cpu run.

I'm thinking this should get me sorted, I have 2 spare rotary 90's at home remaining, 2 in use already on the GPU and pump. Thoughts prior to ordering?

Is there a way to get your pump mounted on your res or is that a full new combo?

Well I got the new combo in and finished the loop with what I had at hand and I'll be honest I'm not really happy with it. I don't like the way it flows and some of the bends are imperfect but I understand that's mostly due to lack of skill being my first attempt

Don't worry too much about it, personally I think think the layout looks awesome, and the bends are pretty good for a first attempt. Doing nice crisp bends is just a skill (one I certainly dont have), tidy a couple of your bends up and it'll look schmick.

Also looks less cluttered with the new res and pump combo

Thanks mate, appreciate it. Just still not to sure on the way the runs are laid out. Plus i had to get the drain down the bottom to make life easy which changed things. I have ordered a RGB-W strip with Gigabyte RGB fusion so I can match the motherboard and get rid of the UV lighting. Gonna go back to clear ekoolant too.

yeah, you're being too hard on yourself, i reckon your runs look just fine and dandy!
pretty good for your first go, i still dont have the balls (or money) to try doing a rigid build yet

havabeer's right, get your bends tidied up(later, after you've enjoyed using it for a while!) and it'll indeed look schmick
