OK Very big question people, need input from all ASAP before I go ahead with hard overclocks. Please see the attached Picture of my Desktop with the programs I have monitoring my PC Temps. Tell me which is right/wrong if you know and which is Tcase/Tjunction temps.
I need insight into which Temp I should go buy so I can understand the limit of the Chips Heat capacity. http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/5388/tempsw.png

and corsair quotes their 'amps per rail' as it is, 9 per rail i think it is for the HX620. :/

Hey guys,
Just an update on how things are going. Well at the moment im at 4.2Ghz. 21x200 at 1.375V CPU and 1.325 VTT/QPI. Idle im 33 degrees, load 60-65 for Tcase and 46 idle and 75-80 Degrees Tjunction. Ram is at 1200MHZ with 9-9-9-27 at 1.55V. QPI is set to 3200MHZ x2 = 6400MHZ. Windows gives me 7.6 on RAM/CPU now Just a quick question tho guys. to feel better performance although atm shit these cpus are quick would you recommend me dropping multi to 20x200 for 4ghz and increasing ram to 1333 8-8-8-24 or going for 22x200 for 4.4GHZ and leaving 1200MHZ.

Try both and bench both. Not likley to be a noticable difference without benchmark scores to go by. You might also try tightening RAM timings @ either frequency...

Almost every other Corsair PSU uses a single +12V rail. If you're still not convinced, look at the ratings for the Enermax Revolution 85+ 850w SLI - It features 6 +12V rails, each rated for 0 -30A - 30 x 6 = 180A, when the total for +12V is only 70A. You can't take the rail amperage rating not matching up with the total amperage rating as an indicator of a non reputable manufacturer.

Depending whether your OS supports it, for stress testing and temps i would use a tool straight from the horse's mouth; Thermal Analysis Tool by Intel
I guarantee you nothing will heat up your CPU like this http://i4memory.com/f55/intel-therma...tool-tat-3082/ This is what I use to tell if my OC is stable. Ussually if the OC is unstable itll crash my system in seconds. If it can handle half an hour, its probably good

Cheers for your tip irR4tiOn4L will give that a try and see how it goes. Well im thinking of dropping multi to 20x and keep increasing bclk until I get 1333mhz RAM just for safe benchmarking and 24/7 use what do you guys think?
Then I can run ram at higher speeds because I think there is a bottleneck here with the RAM being such low speeds, DDR3 at 1200MHZ is DDR2 speeds, I was thinking of going 1333MHZ at 7-7-7-21. Whats better higher BCLK for faster QPI or higher multiplier for faster cpu or mix of all meaing lower speeds on all but were we can max all componenets like 1333 ram 7200 qpi and 4000mhz cpu? oh oh wanted to ask you guys something, with temps is it ok for my cpu temp to go up to around 85? that is the tjunction temp im talking about. And while the tjunction temp is at 85 can the tcase be ok at around 65? Intel only states my tcase can be a max of 71. Cheers

DeejW thank you for your input much appreciate it. The Tjunction max is already set in core temp to 99 which is good, I generally dont let the Tcase go above the 65 degree mark under full load and 85 for TJuntion. That should give me a good run with the life of the CPU shouldnt it?
Ma Baker no need to be so rude please next time I will edit the posts, im only new to forums. Cheers
