Echoing what Diode Says, Adelaide - Average, SA - Great.

Adelaide as a City, is pretty boring, there isn't really a lot 'to do'.
If you like sport, you should time your visit to see either Footy or Cricket at the Adelaide Oval.

March is really the only month when things are happening (Clipsal, TDU, Fringe Etc), so if you're coming for an 'Event' its good.

It's a great oval, but they are really extorting SA sports fans on ticket and food prices there. I go and catch a Crows game there and it costs $77 for nose bleed general admin tickets. For less than half that price you can catch an epic head to head game at the G.

Mad March is a good time to be in Adelaide if you wish to stick around the city.

May I ask where you're getting your tickets?

Crows games?

Every single time I book it's 4 weeks out from the game on the Ticketek website and there isn't usually many GA seats to pick from.

off ticketek or at the gate.

you might be looking at the reserved seating, they are about $70. GA is not a reserved seat, it just gives you access to the back blocks at the top of the main stands, a couple of blocks down near the goals at the scoreboard end, and standing room on the hill.

Ahh! Actually just looking at my last MCG purchase it was $72 for a reserved seat. Maybe once I had unreserved seats for less. I guess the thing in Adelaide is that all seats are reserved and only standing unreserved?
