Yesterday I grabbed for $40:

- 1 PS/2 (fat version), with av cables and power cable.
- 1 NES with the tuner cable thing and 2 original controllers.
- 1 SNES with the tuner cable thing.

I just need to grab powerpacks for the snes/ nes and snes controllers.

So if anyone has them shoot me a pm

Haha that's great! I wonder how long that joystick will last for though

Pioneer Laser Active (CLD-A100).

I've had it for years, well my dad has. But he's retired it not knowing what it actually is. A Laser Disc Console! (with backwards compatibility for Sega CD and mega drive). But i've yet to get that unit.

^ Far out, that's some fairly massive retro points right there.

I still get hankerings for a Laserdisc player. It was one thing from my childhood I never really saw, always fascinated me. Very cool score on that Laser Active.

Does it have any of the PAC's?

Only a karaoke unit atm (PAC-K1). I've used it as a teenager to play music, and it was a pretty good, robust player (even shitty scratched discs that failed on other units ran fine on it). So fingers crossed its got a few years left in it.

Surprisingly, the units you want, N1 and S1 are easily acquirable on ebay, and not at that great of a premium. Games on the other hand...

It is? (neat)?

It's just a rebranded ensoniq card to me.

Nah, no external power required, it's just a cheap blaster. I'm only keeping it for now as it's supposed to have good dos support for a pci card.

I picked up 18 Japanese Hoth Star Wars Customizable Card Game (SWCCG) rares on eBay last friday. Knocked 18 cards off the 22 rares i needed for the set. Was sooooooo stocked. Would have put me to under 150 cards to have all ~4600 released to retail.

Got a message this morning, 14 of them were put through a shredder by his 3YO.

So, I managed to beat the entire world to these cards and was thwarted by a 3YO. Considering i got clubbed between the eyes by my 2YO on Saturday, i'm on a losing streak.

Commiserations, it's sad and unfortunate but ive had it happen too with buying games/consoles off ebay with the child spilling something or otherwise destroying some poor defenseless retro goodies.

Got myself a Slot 1 440BX motherboard off ebay recently. Was put up as an Asus mobo, dude sent a Lucky Star and is no longer registered on ebay all of a sudden. Joke's kind of on him though, this thing works perfectly with a TNT2 M64, 2x Voodoo 2s in SLI and an SBLive 5.1.
