GF3 or Radeon 8500 imho

Too bad it isn't an 840...

Not retro, but its heart and soul is

I present my recently delivered Unicomp Ultra Class 103 buckling spring keyboard

I've become a bit of a keyboard snob in recent years and I've always wanted a Model M, I just wasn't prepared to shell out a heap of money for a used keyboard, so I did the next best thing, I bought one of these. All the fun of a Model M, but new

I must say, it feels just like the Model M's I've used in the past and I think it complements my test/retro bench quite nicely.

I guess it falls under "retro" as it's from 1999 and from the Pentium 3 era. But I bought a Enlight EN-8950 case
with the intention of using it with a bunch of 5-in-3 drive adapters and migrating my NAS system to using it instead
of my current Antec Titan case which I have used, abused endlessly and modified to suit my needs.

I found it on ebay and was quite surprised just how old it was after realising it pretty much hit the mark for my needs.
Despite this, it's always fallen a little short on what I've wanted in a case, so time for its replacement.

Good luck finding a P3 1133 in Slot 1. They were recalled before being officially released and I have never seen or heard of one in the wild. You'll have to run a socket 370 version in an adapter.

Yep, well aware of that (that was the "I know" in brackets )

Just gonna settle for a 1GHz one I think

Scored today for $30 (not including c64), both screens work though the 1084 is alittle dull.

Floppy drive isn't playing nice either seeks but cant find anything? assuming it needs a good clean and service.

Not too much interesting stuff in the floppys, Legit copy of GEOS and a few legit games though mostly pirated as usual.

Theres alittle bit of Apple 2(Couple games)/ CPM(Random legit programs, nothing rings a bell)/ microsoft (Windows 2 for 286) stuff mixed in with it aswell

Not strictly retro (yet), but it all falls outside of the 10 year window commonly accepted for PC retro, part of a haul I scored yesterday:

Nice score. I've never found a 1702 in the wild but I once found a Commodore 1701 dumped on the street. I carried it about 7 blocks home on foot, that was fun. It was NTSC 120v 60Hz, so I didn't actually get to try it until years later when I acquired a stepdown transformer. It fired up fine and worked great but I didn't have much use for an NTSC monitor, so I sold it.
