So Vega will be out before the Volta hype train fires up?

Really starting to get bored with waiting for AMD to drop something useful in the GPU space. Ill stick it out for now as my 980Ti really covers everything I could want from it at 1440P.

This, but i think we have AMD's Vegan POS to thank for nV not disabling any cuda cores on the 1080ti

I really want to support AMD but they are just dragging their feet so long with this release it honestly seems like nvidia will release an 1100 series before AMD even gives us prices for vega.

As far as I know they didn't announce anything else. Just the official title of the cards.

By the sounds of it they all got on the gas and forgot about vega and played drunken VR.

Yeah i'm struggling in games atm...

Having to run ghost recon wildlands on medium 1440p with my 290x, looks so bad to what it should.

Really really need a new card, and they won't release anything!!! Don't want to go nvidia due to stupid prices. But might have to make the jump if there isn't an announcement soon!

Don't do it! NV's anti consumer business practices shouldn't be supported.

PS Ghosts runs shit on all cards. 1440 is only playable on Ultra by a titan. It's a BS poorly optimised game.

Current reports are that a rebranded 470/480 will come out first with a higher stock clock speed before Vega finally drops... crazy.

After the shit they copped for 'rebranding' before I'm surprised they aren't launching them as RX475 and RX485

At least this time they're acknowledging it as a refresh rather than slipping them out there and acting surprised when people were annoyed

Yeah they could do the 475/485 but with a whole new range coming out shortly it makes sense to rename them as 500 series. I'm interested in the 590, I'd like a 14nm fury but I imagine it will be the smaller vega to compete with the 1070.
