Default New Godox XPro trigger

Godox continues too impress, even the photos look good of the new trigger: http://www.diyphotography.net/leaked...-lots-buttons/

Not sure if this is the talked about X2 trigger or a completely new line of triggers.

honestly i don't find the x1 that bad... bit fidgety maybe.

Either way... this looks better...

The five buttons on the left side, look like short cuts to the 5 groups. Select a group, then you use the other buttons.

The overall design is not unlike the Nissin Air 1 trigger - no bad thing.

Existing trigger seems fine to me. I'm sure I'll buy this whenever it dies/breaks.

Now official: http://flashhavoc.com/flashpoint-r2-...ter-announced/

It has a TCM Function as well. TCM stands for TLL > Convert > Manual, so you can use TTL and then have it convert the TTL settings to manual for fine tuning.

Pre order from Adorama for US80: https://www.adorama.com/fprrr2proc.h...ce=rflaid68302

Now that's cool. I wonder how many Godox will want me to buy if I get them directly from them

It seems the Adorama unit is $10 more than what Amazon will charge for the Godox branded ones.

Will TCM only work with flash units with TTL? I think it might. So the TCM feature may not work on manual only Godox strobes and flashes.

Good thing about godox is it's not a massive investment.... sell the x1 and but the pro.

Don't like the X1 either. Went back to pocket wizards and manually changing the power of my AD600s (old habit) By no means its terrible, but i somehow always end up accidentally cycling through my channels instead of the power settings.

Its unlikely I will. I have asked for a quote though - minimum order too high. The cost price is about $15USD more then the X1. I wonder how that will translate to retail prices
