Yeah it's old news if you follow Bashiok's posts and dev interviews etc. It just popped up everywhere recently because Blizz added a page about it to the official website.

Don't be such a cynic. D2's endgame was broken, it took over 800 full player Baal games to get from 98-99, how is that a fun endgame?

What they are doing is making it so that you finish around 50-55 (supposedly going on the blue posts) and hitting 60 isn't a challenge but offer more (unnannounced) endgame structure. Which the major one will be the loot.

I tend to agree that increasing level caps in subsequent expansions sucks arse. I never made it past 93 but at least there was the possiblity. Man, Blizzard needs to stop the MMO bullshit antics...

They haven't spoken about expansions but i don't see the problem with expanding the level cap.

I don't like WoW as a game, but expanding the level cap means you can add another act with harder content.

Never took me that long. It's not like a Baal run took long. 3-4 minutes 5 tops.

Anyway, I was left really underwhelmed by the trailer. The movies in Diablo 2, for their time, were exceptional. The dialogue, direction, voice acting... all was superb.

This new trailer is just par for the course. Sigh.

looks like a mix between assassin and rogue... looks quite interesting!

although from the videos the class looks like you need to evade a lot. glass cannon?
