I'm using SB indexer, that'd be the problem?
Better indexer would be the solution I think.

I was having the same issue, I changed my config and now everything is completing without passwords.

It names them incorrectly as it gets the SEASON wrong.

Yeah. Found this from when I fixed it ages ago.

http://sickbeard.com/forums/viewtopi...tart=20#p17208

In lib\tvdb_api\tvdb_api.py:
Code:
       for cur_ep in epsEt.findall("Episode"):
            seas_no = int(cur_ep.find('SeasonNumber').text)
            ep_no = int(cur_ep.find('EpisodeNumber').text)
            for cur_item in cur_ep.getchildren():
                tag = cur_item.tag.lower()
                value = cur_item.text
                if value is not None:
                    if tag == 'filename':
                        value = self.config['url_artworkPrefix'] % (value)
                    else:
                        value = self._cleanData(value)
                self._setItem(sid, seas_no, ep_no, tag, value)
        #end for cur_ep
Replace with:
Code:
        for cur_ep in epsEt.findall("Episode"):
            seas_no = int(cur_ep.find('SeasonNumber').text)
            ep_no = int(cur_ep.find('EpisodeNumber').text)
            if sid == 73141:
                if seas_no==2:
                    seas_no = 1
                    ep_no = ep_no+7
                if seas_no>2:
                    seas_no=seas_no-1
            for cur_item in cur_ep.getchildren():
                tag = cur_item.tag.lower()
                value = cur_item.text
                if value is not None:
                    if tag == 'filename':
                        value = self.config['url_artworkPrefix'] % (value)
                    else:
                        value = self._cleanData(value)
                self._setItem(sid, seas_no, ep_no, tag, value)
        #end for cur_ep
It's client side, to remember to fix it after you update to the latest master.

This just forces it to download episodes marked as S09 and rename to S08 etc.

Theres another fix out there, that forces the tvdb data to be changed before arrivng to SB, so it looks like the scene, and downloads and renames as such.
I can't recall the exact link, but it's basically just editing the link(s) to thetvdb in your source files, and replacing it with thexem.de instead. (http://thexem.de/xem/show/16)

Tweaknews speeds are back to being really terrible, currently getting 280KB/s :| (10mbit Connection, easily get 1MB/s on backup astraweb account)

I only just re subscribed last week Hopefully I can get a refund as this is pretty poor.

Think I am going to go back to astra as main account and use tweak for backup

Yeah it's been pretty horrible last week or so. It doesn't particularly bother me that much as A. It's very cheap (especially with renewal discount), B. Take downs are pretty slow and C. It's managing to download faster than I can watch/faster than it can be taken down.

I'm in the market for a new usenet provider and was hoping people here could recommend one.

I've been using Astraweb but am no longer happy with them.

Someone said I should try a provider that's based in Europe (one recommended was newsgrabber.nl) but I've not heard of any of them before so thought it safer to ask here as I trust the community more.

I use Supernews unlimited as my primary source and TweakNews block as my backup source. TweakNews hardly ever gets used and I very rarely have any problems at all.

So do I along with thundernews and a month ago I was pulling at 2.2mb/s today I was ~1mb/s. If i flick it over to my cable I need to turn astraweb block account on to max it at 13mb/s

getting decent nzb files take a bit longer than torrents which are a pain in the ass slow when they first start seeding but usenet has decent speeds once the nzbs are up and complete.
