slightly concerned, the coil is smaller than the ID of my tubing so it can move about instead of being wedged... I dont' want it to get stuck somewhere and cause a problem, would I be better off putting it in my res? I won't be able to get it out again but at least it won't be floating through tubes.

you can bend it out to fit the tube, or just stick it in the res

are we gonna get any pics?

Sure. I'm just draining and cleaning the thing out atm to make sure no more gunk is left. My loop is not terribly pretty so don't get too excited... willing to take advice though :-)

Hi all,

Well im' a bit disappointed with the colour, I was hoping it would be a bit darker to go with the tubing but perhaps the lighter blue will grow on me as a contrast.

Meanwhile I've realised a problem and found that there is a bit of strain on my 24pin power connector and since it has been moved with this work my PC now randomly turns off (works if you hold the power conector) ... will get an extension and try again.

Meanwhile pics to follow.
