Thanks for help everyone.

Settled for 65Hz cross over after a lot of listening, it got rid of a bit of boom which is what I prefer.

Also moved sub woofer to corner on a wooden floor, it was under the desk pushed against one side. The Corner is still not ideal, about 20cm space around it, but I also had these 50x50x12 (mm) vibration reducing and sound dampening pads I stuck under each of the feet to reduce the vibration through the floor, works a treat and improved it heaps.

Edit: Super glued two of the pads together to make is a 24mm rise.. Sounds even better!!

Since it is only under the feet, I better not go higher.

a lot of the time, sub being in a corner is a good thing, you'll normally get a bit of gain there due to the walls

but sometimes you need to try the sub in different spots to find the "sweet spot"

Good find on those vibration pads.

I see they also come on 200mm squares, I might have to get some for my sub.

I actually got them because I have the KS9000 TV with a sound bar at front but the sound bar won't fit because of the TV stands, two of these at each end and in the middle raised it above the tv stand, lol.
