If you want watercooling a Gainward 970 Phantom is a shorty.. at least most of them are, some aren't, its a pretty random lottery. Point being that a short 970 takes a stock EK full cover block and backplate.. I have a block and backplate here if you are interested.

Great idea but I had one of those a few builds back, I would like something different/newer.

Zotac 1080Ti mini - 211mm long - Here

I thought a Fury X looked pretty short with a water block - here
